Youth Garden Project
All students are invited to join the Volunteer Crew and work outside in the sunshine helping grow our community garden. Students learn about plants and food systems through hands-on learning experiences.
The YGP Volunteer Crew is an after school recurring volunteer opportunity for high schoolers who want to earn volunteer hours for scholarships, Honor Society, learn about gardening, or just for fun!
Volunteer Crew members commit to one trimester (fall, winter, spring) at a time and work 1-2 hours a week, totaling at least 10 volunteer hours over the course of a trimester.
Stop by the garden for an application, or print out the one here and fill it in. There is no specific start date, so come by whenever you are feeling excited to begin your after school volunteer experience with the Youth Garden Project! You can also email [email protected] with any questions.
