Debate

Speech & Debate is an UHSAA-sponsored activity. Tournaments consist of multiple rounds in which students compete in one or more events. There is a wide range of events that can serve a variety of purposes: from acting out a scene to analyzing current events to the traditional debate events where students are tasked to defend a case. Students who join develop their skills as critical thinkers, public speakers, and active citizens of our world.
