Grand County School District Lunch Services Schedule
During the extended school closures, (March 13- April 10th) school lunch service WILL CONTINUE daily EXCEPT over Spring Break (April 6-10) and over the weekends. As a reminder, lunch is available for ALL GCSD students, at no cost. Please read the full article for lunch pick-up locations/times (for students who walk) and delivery locations/times (for students who ride the bus). The locations and delivery schedules are also listed below (and attached).
School Pick-Up Times for Students who Walk
- HMK Students: 11 am -12:30 pm @ the cafeteria doors on the northeast side of the building.
- Grand County Middle School Students: 11:30 am -12 pm @ Grand County High School on the patio located on the north side of the school.
- Grand County High School Students: 12 – 12:30 pm @ Grand County High School on the patio located on the north side of the school.
IMPORTANT DETAILS FOR STUDENTS WHO WALK:
- All students picking up lunches at the schools or bus stop location MUST be present. Parents and siblings are NOT allowed to pick up lunches without the student present.
- Students who walk MUST pick up their lunches from their school and cannot pick-up at other locations.
- Students who walk MUST take their lunches to go and WILL NOT be allowed to eat lunch in the school or on school grounds.
- Parents/adults WILL NOT be able to purchase lunches for themselves.
Lunch Delivery for Students who Ride the Bus
- Lunches will be delivered by school buses or suburbans.
- Students MUST arrive 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
- Bus drivers will only be able to stay at the bus stops for a few minutes because traffic will be stopped.
- Students MUST follow regular guidelines, including standing at the bus stop, waiting until the bus stops, and standing 10 feet away.
- Once stopped, bus drivers will bring lunches to the students. They will not be allowed on the bus.
IMPORTANT DETAILS FOR STUDENTS WITH LUNCH DELIVERY (STUDENTS WHO RIDE THE BUS):
- All students picking up lunches at the schools or bus stop location MUST be present. Parents and siblings are NOT allowed to pick up lunches without the student present.
- Students who ride the bus MUST pick up their lunches from their bus stop and cannot pick-up at other locations.
- Parents/adults WILL NOT be able to purchase lunches for themselves.

Horario de los servicios de almuerzo del Distrito Escolar del Condado Grand
Durante los cierres escolares extendidos, (13 de marzo al 10 de abril) el servicio de almuerzo escolar CONTINUARÁ diariamente, EXCEPTO durante las vacaciones de primavera (6-10 de abril) y durante los fines de semana. Como recordatorio, el almuerzo está disponible para TODOS los estudiantes de GCSD, sin costo alguno. Lea el artículo completo para conocer los lugares / horarios de recogida del almuerzo (para los estudiantes que caminan) y los lugares / horarios de entrega (para los estudiantes que viajan en el autobús). Las ubicaciones y los horarios de entrega también se enumeran a continuación (y se adjuntan). Para los estudiantes que utilizan el transporte escolar, el almuerzo será entregado en las paradas de los buses (grandschools.org).
Horarios de recojo para los estudiantes que caminan a la escuela
- Estudiantes de la Escuela Elementaria HMK: 11 am -12:30 pm en la puerta de la cafetería ubicada en la parte noreste del edificio.
- Estudiantes de la Escuela Secundaria del Condado Grand: 11:30 am -12 pm en el patio de la Escuela Preparatoria del Condado Grand ubicado en la parte norte del edificio.
- Estudiantes de la Escuela Preparatoria del Condado Grand: 12 – 12:30 pm en el patio de la Escuela Preparatoria del Condado Grand ubicado en la parte norte del edificio.
DETALLES IMPORTANTES PARA LOS ESTUDIANTES QUE CAMINAN
- Todos los estudiantes que recojan sus almuerzos en las escuelas o en las paradas de los buses DEBEN estar presentes. Padres y hermanos NO podrán recoger almuerzos sin que el estudiante esté presente.
- Los estudiantes que caminan a la escuela DEBEN recoger su almuerzo de la escuela a la que asisten y no podrán hacerlo en otros lugares.
- Los estudiantes que caminan a la escuela DEBEN llevar su almuerzo a casa. NO se les permitirá comer en la escuela o en los predios escolares.
- Padres/adultos NO podrán comprar almuerzo para ellos.
Horarios de recojo para los estudiantes que usan el bus escolar
- Los almuerzos serán entregados en los buses escolares o suburbans.
- Los estudiantes DEBEN llegar 5 minutos antes del horario establecido para el arribo del bus.
- Los conductores de los buses sólo podrán permanecer unos minutos en la parada porque el tráfico se detendría.
- Los estudiantes DEBEN seguir las reglas normales, incluyendo esperar a 10 pies de distancia a que el bus se detenga por completo.
- Una vez que el bus se detenga, el conductor traerá los almuerzos para los estudiantes. No se permitirá el ingreso de los estudiantes al interior del bus.
DETALLES IMPORTANTES PARA LOS ESTUDIANTES A QUIENES SE LES ENTREGARÁ EL ALMUERZO (ESTUDIANTES QUE USAN EL TRANSPORTE ESCOLAR):
- Todos los estudiantes que recojan su almuerzo de la escuela o de la parada del bus DEBEN estar presentes. Padres y hermanos NO podrán recoger su almuerzo si el estudiante no está presente.
- Los estudiantes que usan el transporte escolar DEBEN recoger su almuerzo de la parada del bus y no podrán hacerlo de ningún otro lugar.
- Padres/adultos NO podrán comprar almuerzo para ellos.
