Updated - GCSD 20-21 COVID-19 School Reopening Plan

Good Afternoon GCSD Parents, Please follow the link to view the updated version of our school reopening plan. There have been some changes on a state level as follows. The changes refer to the modified quarantine procedure. Now, students who come in close contact with the contagious virus will be expected to follow “standard quarantine practices,” staying home for 14 days. All school staff members are asked to do the same. In addition, an outbreak is now defined as 3 cases in a class and 15 cases in a school. Please refer to page 8 and 9 of the plan for more information on these changes. The Health Department will be contact tracing with our school nurse.
