All freshman and sophomores are required to take this test (unless opted out by Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 3pm). Your student needs to arrive by 7:45am.
The Aspire Plus test gives students ACT readiness practice and gives a probable ACT score. It also lets them, their parents, and their teachers know about skill gaps they could approve on before they take the ACT their junior year. The ACT is used by post-secondary institutions to determine admittance and merit-based scholarships.
- The students will be taking the test with their Advisors.
- The test will be online on Chromebooks. Students MUST bring their Chomebooks, fully charged, and their chargers to school this day.
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided or they can bring their own if they prefer.
- Please have your student leave their cell phones and other electronic devices at home (i.e. smart watch) or they must place the device at the front of the room.
- Remote students are required to attend school this day.
- If you have other children in high school (grades 11 and 12), they do not attend school this day.
If your student will be gone during the test, we are in the process of scheduling a makeup test day.
