Good Afternoon GCHS Family,
On Friday, December 22, 2023, Grand County High School will have our “Learning Accountability Day”. On this day, GCHS students have the option to attend school from 8am to 11am to help them improve their grades from Term 2/Semester 1. If you are contacted by your students’ teacher or teachers, your student will be asked to attend school. This is a wonderful opportunity to have your child receive one-on-one help and improve his or her grade or grades in their classes.
As a reminder, if your student is failing a Quarter or Semester Class, your student should attend “Learning Accountability Day” to receive a passing grade, as they are completing that particular course for the school year. Please make sure that your child attends or your student will fail the class and will need to repeat it.
On this day, GCHS will not provide transportation to school nor will we provide breakfast or lunch.
It is our desire that students have opportunities to receive help prior to the end of Term 2/Semester 1; this is a team effort, so we hope that you bring your child to school on that day.

Buenos Tardes la familia de GCHS,
En el viernes, Diciembre 22, 2023, Grand County High School tendrá nuestro “Dia de Contabilidad”. En este día, los estudiantes tendrán la opción de asistir a la escuela desde las ocho de la mañana hasta las 11 de la mañana para mejorar sus calificaciones del término 2/Semestre 1. Si los maestros se les contacten acerca de su estudiante, su estudiante necesita asistir a la escuela ese día. Esta es una oportunidad maravillosa para su estudiante recibir ayuda y pasar su clase o sus clases.
Para recordarles, si su estudiante está fallando en una clase del término o semestre, su estudiante necesita asistir el Dia de Contabilidad para pasar esa clase. Si no, la tiene que repetir en otra oportunidad. Es clave que su estudiante no pierda sus clases!
En este día, GCHS no ofrecerá transporte a la escuela ni el desayuno o almuerzo.
Es nuestro deseo que los estudiantes tengan oportunidades de recibir ayuda antes de que termine el término dos/semestre uno. Con los papás, nosotros somos un equipo, entonces deseamos que traerán su estudiante en este día.
