SCHEDULES ARE LIVE - CLASS CHANGE REQUEST PROCESS
Hello GCHS Parents/Guardians and Students,
Please review your student's schedule for the 25-26 school year. If a class change is
desired, you may request an opportunity to look at dropping an undesired class for
another option through the Class Change Request Form. In the Class Change Request
form, you will identify the undesired class identifying the period and Semester/Quarter.
We will review your request and email or call you with options in lieu of the undesired
classes. (If there are any good options). In many cases, once students see their options
they opt to stay with the class on their schedule. Please respond by email to this email/phone
call with your election.
**Class Change Requests should happen at least 1 week prior to the beginning of the
school year. Information for the Class Change Request form will be provided at the end
of this message.
**Once Semester 1/Quarter 1 has started, students will be charged $10 per class change
and an ADD/DROP form must be used to get permission from the Teacher to enter any
new class.
Be advised that this year Secondary Math 1, Secondary Math 2 and Secondary Math 3
are year-round courses. Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Anatomy &
Physiology and all AP classes are 3 quarters. All other typical year classes such as
English, Geography, US History etc. will be a Semester/2 Quarters.
TAKE THE TIME TO FILL OUT THIS FORM WITH YOUR STUDENT. PLEASE SUBMIT
ONE FORM.
