The Grand County Education Foundation is pleased to offer two $1,000 scholarships for graduating seniors of Grand County High School.
Available Scholarships1. Trade Program Scholarship
Awarded to a student enrolled in a post‑secondary program that provides hands‑on training in a specific trade.
2. College or University Scholarship
Awarded to a student who plans to attend a college or university in Fall 2026.
Include the following:
- The college, university, or technical/trade school you plan to attend.
- Your intended major, program, or area of study (General Studies is acceptable).
Briefly describe how the scholarship will help with expenses such as:
- Tuition
- Books and class materials
- Housing
- Supplies or program‑specific tools
- Transportation
Write a short statement that includes:
- Your educational and career goals
- How this scholarship will support your success
- Scholarship recipients will be publicly recognized at the Grand County High School Senior Scholarship Awards Presentation.
- Applications will be reviewed in collaboration with the high school counseling office to ensure accuracy if needed.

Hey Seniors,
Check out this scholarship available for Trade/Tech careers (list of qualifying carriers included in the “About Scholarship” link). If you don’t see your career on the list, ask a CTE teacher if they think your career choice might qualify.

Please reach out with any questions to me or any of your CTE teachers. The scholarships vary in amount each year but in general 5 to 8 scholarships are offered and often are $2,000 to $3,000.
